We drove all night and arrived in Frankenmuth bright and early Saturday morning. Aunt Ruthie, Haley, and Jared were our tour guides for the morning. They took us downtown for the Fire Muster which included a very fun parade of antique fire trucks!
After the parade, all the trucks were on display in the park. The boys got to try their hand at the fire hoses.

After lunch at Aunt Ruthie's, we headed over to visit with Grandpa and Grandma Weiss. Grandpa took us to see the tractors at Weiss Equipment (one of my favorite memories as a kid).

We headed back over to Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Terry's for some much needed rest! The three hours Brian and I got on the overnight trip ran out about 8pm! But don't worry, there's always time for a bedtime story. I mean, really, who could tell this little guy no?
We had a fun day catching up with the Weiss side of the family, and our week long adventure is just starting! Stay tuned.
