Lake Superior

Day 3 started off where day 2 left off....busy and full throttle. We saw a ton of stuff again today!

We crossed over the Mackinac Bridge into the Upper Peninsula just before 9 am. They are painting the bridge so we got to see the guys walking the suspensions!

First stop, Soo Locks. We got there just in time to see 3 ships come in right in a row!

Again, we took the scenic route up Lake Superior toward Paradise. Lucas's was asleep, but Isaac and I climbed Iroquois Point Lighthouse.

Then it was on to Tahquamenon Falls. We came to the lower falls first.

Then we had a peanut butter sandwich lunch break in the gorgeous weather!

Then on to the much more impressive upper falls.

Moving on down the road, we came to Oswald's Bear Ranch. They did an excellent job of taking your money! But we promised the kids they could see and pet the bears and that they got to do. I won't lie, we all had fun.

Quick stop to get the keys to tonight's cabin before heading up to Munising for dinner and a cruise on Lake Superior.

The Pictured Rocks cruise was the highlight of the day. It's a must see that pictures don't do justice. But here are some of my favorites.

We are exhausted, but it was another great day! I could so be a professional tourist!!
