Traveling with "Twins"

On Saturday afternoon, we set off on our 2nd annual go to Uncle Mark's work conference. Last year, we visited Oregon and Washington while Uncle Mark was busy at work. This year, we're taking in the sites in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Saturday was travel day, and it's always fun to hear people's comments when you travel with kids. Isaac and his cousin Madeline are only 3 months apart. But they are the same size and look a lot alike, so people always assume they are twins instead of cousins. Remember we also have baby Audrey (3 months) and my big ole pregnant belly in tow, so we've gotten some looks and overheard the comments already. They all just make us laugh!

There was the man in the airport who told his wife "they're nuts!"...and maybe we are, but we're having fun being nuts how about you mister?

But the best one by far was the lady we passed yesterday getting off of the elevator at the hotel. It was just Brian and I on the elevator and we had Isaac and Madeline, still in car seats, on the luggage carrier. The woman thought I was out of range when she said, "and she's got another one on the way!" Too funny.
Our "carry-on" luggage...
What can I say, we love adventure and we love our kids...and yes, we probably are a little crazy too!
