We spent today in the gorgeous weather at Folly Beach. This was Lucas' first trip to the ocean and we dipped his feet in, but he wasn't too sure about that cold water (the older kids both went in and under but they're crazy!). He did, however, find that the beach is a great place to nap!
Isaac, Madeline and Audrey had fun playing in the sand. Thank goodness Audrey didn't mind getting a little dirty!

Isaac and Daddy played games in the surf. It was pretty cute to watch Isaac mimic everything that Brian did. Here they are jumping waves on one foot.
We made sure to save some cheese puffs from our picnic lunch for the seagulls. We even managed to get a few to eat out of our hands.
And once playtime started to look like this, we packed up and headed back to the cottage to get cleaned up.
Aunta caught a lizard for the kids to play with for a little while.
And to close out the day we made a trip back to the playground where Isaac took Lucas on his first ride down the slide.
Everyone has pretty much crashed at this point. The kids were asleep before their heads hit the pillows and I'm about there myself. All this great weather and fresh air is great! Too bad this weather doesn't last all summer!
