Bowling

On Wednesday night we got a group together to go check out the new upscale bowling alley in town, Sparians at North Hills. It's been years since I've been bowling, and although I wouldn't classify myself as a germaphobe, I will admit that I typically feel like I'm coated in germs by the time I leave. But I have to tell you, this place was NICE!!

It was Isaac's first trip to the bowling alley and like every other sport, he loved it immediately. He did have a hard time understanding why he only got two rolls at a time, but once he got the hang of that he did great! This is definitely something we will be doing again.

Here is Isaac taking his turn using the green ball...he enjoyed trying out all the different colors they had and insisted on carrying them up to the bowling ramp that they provide for the young kids who don't have the strength to actually throw the ball. It's cool, he just set the ball up there and gave it a good push. Much easier than the only "granny shot"/between the legs method.
Isaac getting a lesson from daddy (although I beat daddy, so maybe next time I should be the one handing out advice!). Check out the big screens above the pins...totally cool!!

Isaac was extra excited because he got to stay out late and past his bedtime! We all had a great time with our bowling experience. I would definitely recommend this place over your typical bowling alley. The atmosphere, food, spirits, and bowling were great!!
