Lucas 4 months

I know I probably say this every month, but my goodness does time ever fly. On one hand, I cannot believe Lucas is 4 months old. Then on the other hand, I feel like he’s been with us forever!

He has grown so much between months 3 and 4. He is sitting up really well now (not by himself, but we’re close). He rolls from his back to his tummy. He babbles constantly and LOUD!! He’s found his feet and discovered his tongue just in the last few days. Here he is showing off his latest trick…sticking out his tongue!

At our visit to the doctor last week (we had a brief case of thrush that has now cleared up), he weighs just over 16 pounds. He’s a good little eater which makes mommy very happy!

Here are my two boys. They are already best of friends. Since Lucas has found his little voice our afternoon ride home from work/school is filled with conversation between these two. Isaac loves that Lucas will talk back to him and laugh at his funny faces!! I loved the surprise in Isaac’s voice the first time Lucas “talked” back to him. “Mommy!! Lucas is talking to me!!” We ALL get excited about Lucas’ firsts!

Aren’t these two the sweetest boys ever??
