As a mother, the thing you probably wish for most (well maybe right after being healthy) is for your kids to be happy. Over the last few months I watched my first little baby grow into a little person with an amazing personality. His imagination runs wild as done his never ending energy! Needless to say, he seemed to have a blast on our vacation to Michigan. It was so refreshing to just watch him enjoy being a kid. I realized when I got home and looked through my pictures, that I managed to capture some of his true personality on camera.
My personal favorite…the flower chicken in front of Zehnder’s! (Yes, I snapped a picture instead of telling him not to do this. I mean, he just wanted to smell the flowers!)
My little boy has grown so much since his first trip to Michigan at age 1.

I learned a long time ago to soak up every moment that you can with mental pictures tucked away in that special place in your heart. My heart grows every day with the memories I make with my boys.
And if Isaac is that much of a character…I can’t imagine what this one is going to turn out to be. He’s already made it quite clear that he will not be outdone by his big brother!
