Fun in Hickory

After Thomas, we spent the rest of the weekend in Hickory. The boys had a great time just hanging out and playing around the house. They really seem to enjoy the toys that Mommy and Aunta used to play with.

The trolls from the “troll tree” in the sun room. A little history…years ago Anna and/or I find a troll when cleaning out our room. We put it in Oma and Opa’s ficus tree in the sun room as a joke. It lived there for a long time unnoticed by Oma and Opa. Once they found it, we told them how long it was there and it was decided that the little purple troll now lived there. Recently while Aunta was packing up her house in Gastonia, Opa found some of that trolls friends. Now quite a few trolls live in that ficus tree. And this is how crazy traditions get started in our family….I firmly believe all ficus trees should have a troll.

Writing on the basement wall. Another Slivensky tradition. Dad let us write and paint all over the basement walls. All our friends had to sign the wall when they came over. There’s some fun stuff on those walls. And now Isaac has made his mark!

New Halloween pajamas!

Homemade sushi!! Yes, Isaac actually tried this and even enjoyed it.

We had a great weekend playing with Oma and Opa.
