On Sunday, we made a quick three day trip to the beach to drop off some furniture and visit the cousins. It was a fun filled, action packed 3 days!
We tore into Southport on two wheels with just minutes to spare, but we made it just in time for the church Easter Egg Hunt!
On the way back to the house, we stopped by to see the alligators that Aunta has been telling us about. They are really cool!!
The little fella eating pretzels that someone else fed the fish. We have 4 children and no extra pretzels, I promise.
The big fella…although rumor has it there is a bigger one out there.
Back at the house, we had some outdoor fun. Lucas redecorated the yard.
Audrey finally got to play with her Christmas present! Well at least for a second before the big kids took over.
Audrey trying to convince her “Lu-Lu” (as she calls him) to race!
On Monday, we headed to Fit-For-Fun in Wilmington. This place was really cool and the kids had a lot of fun playing with all the toys!
Lucas in the ball pit.
Isaac loved the giant Mickey Mouse hands!! He is very much into dress-up.
Art Time
Water play…and all 4 kids in one place at one time for a rare photo op!
The cool car ramp on the outside playground.
Needless to say they were EXHAUSTED on the way home. The little ones ride in the truck with me (we don’t all fit in one car any more), and they held hands to fall asleep.
Back at the house, the big kids did egg art that Aunta prepared for them while the little ones continued their naps.
After dinner wrestle mania!! I have my money on the little crazy one. Sorry Isaac!!
Tuesday was spent at the beach. It was an absolutely perfect day for the beach, except for the cold water.
Sand Angels? Beach Bums? or Both??
Just like his big brother…
Race Time (oopsie Lucas)
He did better on the way back.
A little winding down time before we headed for home.
Like I said, it was a quick trip, but it sure was fun. These 4 play so well together and are the best of friends. I absolutely love that. We’re looking forward to a lot more time together this summer!!
OMG I love the picture of the two of them holding hands. That is so precious!
